2. If heartburn hurts at night ...
… sleep on your left side. Studies have shown, that in this body position, there is a much lesser chance of the stomach acid entering into the esophagus. The esophagus and stomach are positioned against each other at a certain angle: when you're lying on the right side, the stomach is higher, and when the left - below.

3.If you have difficulty listening to the conversation ...
… turn towards it with your right ear. Right ear is much better at picking up speech rhythms. And if you want to hear more clearer, what tune is playing quietly, turn to the sound source with your left ear. Left ear is much better equipped to distinguish musical tones.

4.If you are afraid of getting an injection ...
.. try light coughing when the needle is going in. Cough causes a sudden rise in short-term pressure in the chest and spinal channel. It overwhelms pain receptors.
